So I am apparently not much of a blogger. Lots going on around here so far. The snow finally melted and it is warm and sunny out, yeah. Tommy moved out and is back in California, good for him but we miss him a bunch. Chloe turned 8 and we went to the Brookfield Zoo and dinner downtown Chicago.
Waiting for a table we are kinda cold tiered and hungry (not the best pic but at least most of the family is in this one).
Madi turned 9 and we celebrated at Mega Play and then got Mexican food for dinner (hence the sombrero)...
Josh turned 30 and I surprised him by sneaking his mom out which was really fun. We had a good time with her and he was really happy. I am glad that I pulled it off I thought for sure he would figure it out before she got here. I also got him (regrettably) and xbox 360 so he was stoked.
Krysten and Jonathan came out and visited. We had fun just hanging out w/them dragging them around in the snow. The girls went shopping one day while the boys played with the rocket launcher. Fun stuff. Here is a picture of my first niece due in July. Charlotte Steele (at 16 weeks).
A couple of weeks ago Josh and I ditched the crew and we hooked up with our long lost friends Shane and Brandi in Vegas. We had so much fun it was a really good trip. Josh also surprised me one night and we drove down to Riverside and met up w/friends and family for dinner. I got to see some of my best friends, their kids and my cousins who are all like my favorite people in the world. That was so the best surprise (big points in the love bank for my husband) and lots of fun. If I had know that I was coming then I would have called more people but I will be back out in June for my cousin's wedding and I am planning to spend awhile so I can hit Sandals and catch up with everyone that I am missing. Thanks to my cousins who drove up to crappy Riverside and braved the 55 traffic just to see me, I felt very special. My favorite Vegas picture, I totally think it should be used on one of those ad billboards for the famous what happens in vegas stays in vegas slogan. I told them to do this and I love the look on the ladies faces in the foreground. Booze tattoos and love.
And Krysten and I in Vegas...
So far a great 2007. I will try to blog more often now that I know that people are actually looking and reading. Stay tuned next week for soccer and spring break.
